today
WAS AWESOME!!

Woke up on time
ate Ananas Nasi Lemak
and drank chocolate milk!

Got ready in my Lamb of God shirt
and took the bus to Sembawang MRT
Only to meet FAIZ on the bus
Had a smoke
and I headed to Woodlands
as he headed to Fullerton to study

While on the train
I met my old KFC FRIEND!!
MUNIRAAAAAAAH!
She was well
Really late for work
we had like
2 MRT stops to catch up
But it was already enough to put
a smile on my face

So went to the gig
found out
that it was a guy's day out
Found our way there
and had a rocking good time!

Watched all the bands
took photos with a legendary rocker
Then had the most awesome gig experience since 2006

The last band
Wira
Played
IRON MAIDEN COVERS
I friggin joined the headbang line
and headbanged
jumped
screamed
headbanged
circle headbanged
my neck off!
Like literally
FUCKING EXHILARATING!
Can't wait for the next gig!!

So yeah
now with a sore neck
and a smile on my face
I look back
at such an awesome day

One thing I love to note
Today
I was the lucky charm
to my friend
Endra
First
as he was trying to call his ex
to ask for directions to go to the Gig
(the place was Blackhole 212)
Each time he called
She would not pick up
THEN
I actually held the phone
as it dialed her number
and finally
she picked up!
Later during the night
Endra wanted to take off his contact lenses
He tried to do so earlier at a nearby macdonalds
But failed painfully
Then
as I needed to pee
We went to the toilet
and as I was relieving myself
he tried to take the contacts off
what do you know
IT CAME OFF EASILY!

Harlot Nights

40 Days Left

A man once said
confident of his fate
that if his lover would sever
in 40 days he'd be dead
But never did her surmise
that such a small promise made
were the foundations
a misery road laid

Love grew sour
and hate was bitter
He stumbled through sadness
his demons the fitter
Maybe this freedom would be
a new outlook for him
or was this outlook
looking dim

Good thing he also promised
that his foolish promise was null
If he was to find himself
another gull
To fill in the role
and fill up his heart
easier said than done
as he faltered from the start

Sadness and grief
his only companions
as he walked alone
through the walls of his own prison
given up from love
but not yet from life
he suffers hardships
with no listening wife

Day 11
yet he was ready to give
his emotional state
making him want less to live
Death teased him
as he looked down
but he was a man of his words
to continue life with an everlasting frown

Only a miracle could save him
and a miracle she did came
And slowly with happiness
came perfection and fame
suddenly the man who was at the brink of death
was living the life filled with health and wealth
To all those who supported
did he thank
For without them his life
